If you like oozy and melted cheese, you will definitely like this one from NoMilkshakeNoLife that is made with PESTO cheese. Topped with two pieces of buttery toasted beetroot- dyed bread. Also serving a selection of milkshakes, it can’t get any more American than that and we are not complaining!

For something lighter, opt for this authentic Vietnamese Bánh mì sandwich at 越潮 Vietnamese Restaurant. Thin slices of pork and a generous smother of pâté and mayonnaise is balanced out by the tangy-ness of cucumber and carrot pickles, sandwich between crunchy baguettes. A great light lunch option.

If there’s chicken and avocado, it’s healthy right? This one at Artisan Garden Cafe is served with a thick slap of deep fried chicken meat, a handful of greens topped with slices of avocado, finished with two pieces of buttery buns. Also a big fan of their coffee options and vintage cup collection here!

This place is a hidden gem as it is behind the bustling street of Queens Road West but once you find it, you’d want to chill at the patio forever. They have a great (and affordable) selection of artisanal sandwiches made with charcoal dyed baguettes- especially this one with cold cuts – have this with an iced latte and you’re set for a decent lunch.
